This article indicates some barriers to using technology which is occurring
intercultural communication. Technology can create interaction between students
and teachers; however, some drawbacks are occurring in teaching via technology;
some researches demonstrate that lack of level in digital literacy has impacts on
students’ motivation to study; plagiarism and cheating can be noticed among
learners; technology can create an opportunity for students to communicate with
native speakers and develop their communicative skills.
