The category of intertextuality is of particular interest to researchers, since
it is an important component of a literary text. The process of intertextuality is
presented in the form of a system, the components of which are the precedent
text, the recipient text and the intertext. For better perception and analysis of this
category, the paper reveals an intertext scheme in the form of a frame structure,
which includes domains of a cognitive metaphor and slots – cognitive knots of a
literary text.
